In recognition of the holiday season, representatives from Nebraska's turkey industry, and the Nebraska Department of Agriculture, Poultry & Egg Division presented Governor Mike Johanns, with two NORBEST NEBRASKA-GROWN® holiday turkeys on November 26, 2003 at the State Capitol in Lincoln, Nebraska. The turkeys were then donated to the Friendship Home of Lincoln, a shelter for victims of domestic abuse.
